EURO<26 is so much more than just a card that gets you discounts. A non-profit-making activity, all the card fees go back into projects and other developments for improving the mobility and access to information for young people in Europe.
Various projects are organised at national level by EURO<26 organisations. Some of these are open to all young people across Europe, for example the annual EURO<26 Summer Camp that takes place every August in the beautiful surrounds of Zadar, Croatia.
There are also international projects, which are organised by the European Youth card Association. Currently, there are three main projects underway:
EYCAdemy A training programme for young people in methods of qualitative youth research. In 2007-08, the research focus is on Intercultural Dialogue.
Europe for a Change II Telling Europe what young people have to say about their experiences of EU enlargement.
Eurplace26 Young people telling other young people where to go! See Europe through the Eyes of Young Europeans!
EYCA acknowledges the support of the European Commission and the Partial Agreement with the Council of Europe in EYCA projects.
