From October 2005 to April 2006, thousands of young people told us about their priorities for the future of Europe. We also asked young people to vote for their No. 1 most important value for the future of Europe. Here are the results of the Europe for a Change II youth jury:
1. Peace (3,133 votes) 2. Freedom (1,949 votes) 3. Education (734 votes) 4. Same Possibilities (538 votes) 5. Communication (532 votes) 6. Different Cultures (326 votes) 7. Mobility (165 votes)
Europe for a Change: HOW WAS IT FOR YOU...? Has life changed for young people in Europe since the accession of 10 new states to the EU on 01 May, 2004? These and other questions have been answered by the EURO<26 project ‘Europe for a Change’ II online at: www.change-europe.org
